Not to disrespect Krystal or Star Fox or anything, but I'm glad that this one's out of the way. Why? Because this finishes off the "predictables" (the characters that were on my guesswork Brawl roster, and the ones that almost every request list has in common). Starting tomorrow, you'll be seeing some slightly more unique picks.

And yeah, I changed her design a bit. I'm doing this in varying amounts to everybody (from minute proportion changes to complete overhaul), so don't be surprised if you see more Geno-like departures. Krystal here has a slightly more human-like facial structure and slight tweaks to her outfit.

-KRYSTAL-
Series: Star Fox
First Appearance: Star Fox Adventures (2002)
Why I Picked Her: Krystal, unlike other members of the Star Fox cast, has her own fighting style (it's also used by Fox, but not in the Super Smash Bros. games). Plus, more female fighters are needed to dilute the sausage-fest that the series is now.


STANDARD: Fire Spell - Krystal shoots a fireball straight up into the air (this can be charged up to increase the distance), which then falls back down to the ground and explodes upon impact.

SIDE: Staff Throw - Krystal throws her staff like a huge, very fast, ultra-powerful boomerang which will return in a straight path, rather than a curved one (it will even go through walls and floors on the way back, though it can't on the forward trip). However, Krystal cannot use any attacks until the staff is back in hand.

UP: Quake - Krystal slams her staff into the ground (or the air, Newton be damned) and polevaults into the air; if used while on solid ground, a small but violent quake will occur on that spot.

DOWN: Ice Spell - Kind of like Bowser's fire breath, but it can also freeze enemies.

FINAL SMASH: Telepathic Possession (one hell of a clunky name) - Krystal gets direct control of the opponent with the highest score for 10 seconds or until that opponent is KO'ed. During this Final Smash, Krytal will be in a protective bubble and cannot be hit.

I totally distorted her abilities, but it was done to give her a more interesting moveset. Constructive criticism on this moveset is welcome.

<randomdeviant> I think you did quite a good job on her. I've only played one game with her in it (I don't know how many she's been in sadly), and I thought she was pretty cool.
